the best homemmade hot chocolate pre mix!

just add hot milk! voila!


Lama dah tak menulis. My son start to have his own demand and escavator. Husband busy with work. And im busy keeping my son n husband busy. Get it? Haha... Im easily exhausted. Kalau dulu, amzar tidur adalah masa i update blog. Sekarang amzar tidur siang, i busy didapur, baking atau mentelaah resipi. Malam pula, amzar tidur, i pon switch off terus. Sedih. Hehe...

Well... Semalam masa tengah sibuk cari idea baru untuk rasa baru cupcake dan cake, i stumble on this site yg buat homemade hot chocolate pre mix. Serius genius. So i buat dan change few things macam kurangkan jumlah gula dan hilangkan ingredient white chocolate. hehe..Dan sedappp. It so thick and burst with chocolate flavour. Good bye to hot chocolate kt cafe2 ke kopitiam ke.. This hot chocolate is on top n great dan amat sesuai untuk winter yang sedang melanda ni. Eh. Hehe...





This is the recipe.

Hot chocolate pre mix

1 and 1/5 cup of instant milk powder
3/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup of sugar
1 cup of semisweet chocolate chip

Process all ingredient in food processer or dry blender. And keep in tight container.
To use: with hot milk or hot water, add in 2 or 2 tablespoon of pre mix and stir. May add whipped cream or marshmallow to add goodness and pure pleasure. ;-)

vanilla mille crepe






Assalamualaikum...


a three days dessert




punye semangat nk tulis blog, tak menyempat taip assalamualaikum, trus tetibe taip "crepe has inva..." ok snap! back to new sentence.





Crepe has invade people. at least people yg active facebook lah kan.. hehe.. semua lah nak update pasal crepe. and im one of them. Mula mula nak ignore tapi kalau dah 58 org pos pasal crepe, of course la nak try. and i dah buat la crepe durian itu. TETAPI. hari ini saya hendak taip mengenai...



Mille crepe. which is, crepe yang di susun jadi kek atau, cake crepe. haha.. sama saja... this cake has delicate taste. very soft crepe with fluffy and creamy vanilla cream. umm umm umm... its delicately delicious.



ok. disini adalah resipinya. Untuk crepe saya cedok dari : creampuffsinvenice, dan untuk inti vanilla filling, saya ambil dr sini. whatscookingamerica

baiklah.. berikut adalah caranya..





Untuk crepe


6 tablespoons butter

3 cups milk

6 eggs

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

7 tbsp. sugar

Pinch salt



1. masak butter hingga keperangan seperti kacang hazel. maybe ambil masa 2 minit macam tu... ketepikan dan panaskan susu. bila da didih sikit, matikan. biarkan sejuk selama 10 minit. dalam mangkuk lain, satukan tepung, gula, garam dan telur. selepas itu, masukkan susu dan butter yang telah disejukkan tadi. simpan dalam peti sejuk selama semalaman. ya... semalaman ya puan puan.



untuk vanila creme filling


1 egg
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon hot water
2 tablespoons heavy cream, whipped





campurkan semua bahan kering seperti gula, tepung dan tepung jagung gunakan whisk, campurkan telur dan whisk. panaskan susu hingga mendidih.. tuangkan sedikit demi sedikit pada adunan tepung. jgnletak banyak, we dont want our batter to turn into telur  scramble. haha.. after everything look smooth.. masukkan adunan tadi kedalam periuk yg diguna untuk didihkan susu tadi. kacau hingga pekat. dah pekat, keluarkan dari periuk, dan biarkan sejuk. sementara itu, pukul 2 sudu besar whip cream dan fold gently into the creme batter. simpan dalam fridge overnight.



crepe agak tebal disitu ya.. not good. should be thinner.




Keesokkan harinya :)


dalam non stick pan, dengan api rendah, masukkan lebih kurang 2-21/2 sudu besar kedalam pan, n gelek gelek pan supaya kita dapat crepe yang nipis. yang saya buat ini, tak cukup nipis. suppose to be thinner. like paper thin. buat dalam 20 keping. biar sejuk.




Assembling


selepas itu, whipkan 2 cups of whipping cream, dan fold slowly into the creme mixture. Letak crepe pertama di cake stand/ pinggang hidangan. sapukan creme mixture ke atas crepe. dan letakkan crepe kedua, dan seterusnya. make sure each crepe dapat creme yang sama banyak ya.

letak dalam fridge for at least 2 hours and keluarkan, biarkan 10 minit before serving.


Dah siap. anda boleh buat upgrading dengan taburkan fresh berry ke, or maybe pipekan whip cream ke, anything... sky is the limit. but i just wan to keep it simple (ke malas? hahaha) i didnt put anything.


p/s: memang lama nak buat ni. tapi lama  menunggu.. all the process is easy. easy peasy.

roti nan yg gebu kala di kunyah dan indah kala di telan.










assalamualaikum...
akhirnya i berjaya menaip di blog ini! self clap. haha... dah agak lama since i write something here. tiada bahan? -tak juga. malas? - absolutely! hehee.. tapi sebab sebenar ialah kesibukan otak ini memikir. oh ya.. i just opened my online bakery. yay!. :)



ok.. ok.. back to roti nan.

last week my mom had made some delicous kari kambing. oh.. its so good smpai i bg cadangan. jom buat roti nan! n yes we had a lovely dinner malam itu. :)

bahan bahannya :
750gm tepung gandum
250gm tepung naik sendiri
250ml yogurt.
1 paket (11gm) yeast - rendam dlm 1 cwm air hangat n 2 sudu besar gula.
4 sudu besar minyak
sedikit garam.

caranya:
rendam yis dalam air suam dan 2 sudu besar gula n let stand for 5 mins. nanti nampak small bubble. tgh activate la tu...

campurkan tepung gndum dan tepung naik sendiri.
buat lubang ditengah2 tengah dan masukkan yogurt, minyak dan yis.. uli sehingga menjadi doh.

kalau kurang air.. tambahkan air suam. uli sehingga lembut ya.. kalau masih agak keras, teruskan menguli.


bila doh dah lembut, buat bebola yg bersaiz sederhana. bebola besar, sikitla jadinya, bebola kecil, dapatlah banyak nanti. selepas itu, rehatkan bebola dan tutup dengan kain selama satu jam sekurang kurangnya. bebola akan naik sekali ganda.




see... dia dah membesar. hehehe..

selepas itu, canaikan bebola sehingga nipis dan letak di atas kuali leper. tidak perlu minyak.


biarkan sehingga ada gelembung udara dalam roti nan itu. baru balik n ulangi ulangi proses hingga selesai...



haaaa... dah siap roti nan gebu ini. if you ask me, if this naan better than kedai mamak.. i will say yes sbb kalau di kedai mamak nak makan terhad, yang ini, makan sampai pensan pun tak apa.. hehehe...
but this naan is just good. devine and you can put cheese in it dan jadilah naan cheese. waaaahlawei! mantap!

wordless wednesday

Assalamualaikum...

Its almost thursday. Im anxious about myself. Can i do this? Am i capable to do this. Am i going to success. Or will this thing is going to be my another failure?

Too much things in mind. I should focus. I cant sleep. But i cant cook, cuz its already midnight. Only nigella cook at midnight. Im not her. But i want to cook in a fancy kitchen like her. To be succesfull like her. But of course i still want my husband to be my husband and my son to be my son n me to be me... Just want to have a kitchen n success like her. Only that.

Ok. Dah mengarut. Sila tarik selimut.

lasagna : how lasagna can make you feel loved.





Assalamualaikum...

Lasagna... I love the creaminess of this stuff. And when you manage to make it your own... Its even better.
You will feel that someone hug you with all his love when you take the 1st bite of this lasagna.. On your 2nd bite, the feeling intensifying.. You will feel the warmth of coziness.. You will feel spoil... You feel loved... Its a wonderful feeling... And by the time you realize what's on your mouth, your plate is already empty.

So, last week i berjaya buat lasagna ni.. bukan apa, to make few sauces, nak ensemble... macam malas.. tapi,, bila mengenangkan rasanya... mengenangkan segala-galanya tentang lasagna ini.. suddenly i feel strong to wake up and walk to the kitchen and finish this dish.

Yes.. This lasagna is beyond great. Scrumptious, Delicious! sedap.

Lasagna recipe:

Ok... Lasagna kan berlapis2, jadi kita perlukan..

1. Lasagna (the pasta, i use lasagna yang tidak perlu di rebus. tapi if you couldn't find any, sila rebus dahulu ya.. anything, sila rujuk package, bulan puasa haritu i made my own pasta.. sedap tapi leceh sikitla.. :p)
2. Beef tomato sauce
3. Beschamel sauce
4. Mozzarela n cheddar cheese

5. italian herbs
6. salt n pepper

Beef tomato sauce.
300gm ground beef
1 can of tomato puree
2 large onion ( cube)
3 garlic (minced)
1 celery stick ( cube)
1 carrot (cube)
5 red ripe tomatoes (cube)
1/2 cup milk
2 1/2 can (tomato puree can) plain water


Sautee onion n garlic until transparent, add in ground beef, biarkan daging berubah warna ke warna coklat. Tak perlu smpai masak sangat, agak agak daging sudah berubah warna, masukkan susu.. Biarkan susu meresap masuk ke dalam daging.. Selepas itu masukkan all the vege, stir for a while abou 2-3 minutes... Add in tomato puree and the chopped tomatoes... Add in plain water and wait for at least 30 minutes, until all the vege tender and the gravy thickened abit. Takmau pekat sangat ya... Season it with italian seasoning, salt n pepper. Set aside.

Becshamel sauce
2 tablespoon butter

3 tablespoon flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cheddar


melt the butter in a small saucepan, after the butter melt, add in flour, and stir until  flour seems cooked. then add in milk bit by bit. make suresetiap milk addition, susu tadi tergaul rata dalam butter n flour supaya tidak breketul. setelah selesai dengan susu, masukkan sedikit demi sedikit cheese dan tutup api. beschamel should be slightly thick.

Selepas itu, sediakan loyang atau bekas memasak lasagna. berikut adalah urutan untuk menyusun lapisan lasagna.

beef sauce  -----> pasta ----> beschamel sauce---> beef sauce ----> grated cheddar & mozzarella---> beef sauce..... until ada 3 lapisan semuanya. 


setelah itu.. taburkan keju2 cheddar n mozarela dengan kuantiti yang banyak diatasnya.. balut dengan aluminium foil dan bakar pada suhu 200c selama 45 minit dan bukak foil tadi, bakar lagi untuk 10 minit lagi.

dah masak jangan terus makan. tunggu dulu selama 10 minit untuk indulge this beautiful thing ya.. kenapa kena tunggu pula? well.. if you not wait.. terus potong, percayalah, lasagna akan lembik and melt away like a bubur merah... but.. if you wait.. it going to stay on that form. nicely..


waiting for at least 10 minutes before eating.. penantian itu satu penyeksaan, apatah lagi bau yang enak menusuk nusuk hidung, dan benda ini berbisik.. "eat me.. eat me...

gourmet blog challenge MyChef

Assalamualaikum...


bulan lepas saya ada mengikuti pertandingan Gourmet Blog challenge anjuran syarikat makanan sejuk beku yang best iaitu MyChef. Alhamdulillah, saya telah berjaya keperingkat akhir dan telah pun diadili oleh chef chef celebrity iaitu, Chef Florence, Chef Liza, Chef Zam, dan Chef Dr. Ezani.
